Greater Bay Area Tertiary Innovation Contest Celebrates Successful Conclusion

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Tertiary Institution Innovation Project Invitational Competition, organized by The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), recently wrapped up, marking a significant event during the Hong Kong Engineers Week 2024. This competition was designed to foster deeper cooperation and exchange among engineering institutions across the Greater Bay Area, featuring ten teams from local, Mainland, and higher education institutions.

Participants were tasked with a series of engineering challenges, including programming and assembling remote-control cars and robotic arms, constructing a bridge, and finally, building sandcastles to demonstrate their engineering prowess. The competition not only tested their technical skills but also their ability to work creatively and collaboratively under time constraints.
