Gordon Murray Automotive To Unveil T.50s Niki Lauda Supercar At Goodwood

Gordon Murray Automotive (GMA) has unveiled an exclusive tribute to the legendary racing career of Niki Lauda with its latest creation, the T.50s Niki Lauda. This track-only supercar is not just a testament to advanced engineering but also a homage to Murray's illustrious history in Formula 1. Each of the 25 chassis produced will bear the name of one of Gordon Murray's first 24 Grand Prix victories, alongside a special endurance race win, spanning from his initial triumph in South Africa in 1974 to his victory in France in 1995.

The T.50s Niki Lauda is set to make a striking global dynamic debut at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in the UK on 13 April during the Goodwood Members Meet. This event is particularly significant as it not only showcases the T.50s but also marks the debut drive of the T.33 mule 'James', indicating the progress of GMA's forthcoming supercar. The Goodwood Members Meet is renowned for celebrating motorsport legends, making it the perfect venue to honor Niki Lauda's racing career and the connection to the iconic Brabham BT46B 'Fan Car', which Lauda drove to victory in 1978.

The T.50s Niki Lauda promises an unparalleled track experience with its capability to reach a 12,100 rpm redline and generate up to 1,200 kg of downforce, setting new standards for performance and engineering excellence. Alongside the T.50s, GMA will also present the T.33 and T.33 Spider at Goodwood. The T.33 is designed as a two-seater V12 coupe supercar, focusing on delivering driving perfection complemented by a unique V12 engine sound.

GMA's presentation at the Goodwood Members Meet will not only feature its modern-day supercars, including the T.50 and T.50s but also showcase a lineup of heritage race cars, bridging the gap between past triumphs and future innovations. This event represents a unique opportunity for motorsport enthusiasts and automotive aficionados alike to witness firsthand the legacy and future of Gordon Murray Automotive.

The dedication to commemorating Murray's Grand Prix wins through the naming of each T.50s Niki Lauda chassis underscores GMA's commitment to celebrating motorsport history while pushing forward with innovative automotive design and technology. As these supercars make their debut, they stand as moving tributes to the victories and achievements of one of motorsport's most celebrated figures.
