Gold House's A100 List 2024 Honors Influential Asian Pacific Leaders In America
Gold House, a prominent cultural ecosystem championing Asian Pacific creatives, companies, and communities, has launched its celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) with the announcement of its annual A100 List. This prestigious list highlights the 100 Asian Pacific leaders who have significantly influenced American culture and society over the last year. The selection process involved contributions from leading Asian Pacific organizations, creative and business leaders, and multicultural allies. The A100 List not only acknowledges achievements but also sets the stage for a series of celebratory events slated for May 10-11. These include an exclusive A100 Honoree Welcome for past and present honorees and the Gold Gala, North America's premier Asian Pacific celebration.
Asian Pacific leaders have been at the forefront of remarkable achievements across various sectors. In entertainment, their creativity has led to record-breaking moments with "The Night Agent" becoming Netflix's most-watched show of 2023, and "Elemental" achieving the same feat on Disney+ in its release year. The sports world has seen significant milestones as well, with Shohei Ohtani becoming the highest-paid athlete globally and Heung-Min Son being the first Asian player to net 100 Premier League goals. Furthermore, in the technology sector, Asian Pacific individuals have founded 42% of companies that went public in the US over the past two years, showcasing their pivotal role in driving innovation.

The A100 List also features special recognitions, including this year's "A1s," awarded to individuals deemed most impactful in their fields. Among them are Jensen Huang of NVIDIA, actor and filmmaker Dev Patel, Anish Melwani of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton Inc., the Maui First Responders, and content creator Rachell "Valkyrae" Hofstetter. Additionally, seven individuals previously listed on the A100 have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, highlighting their enduring influence.
A new category introduced this year is New Gold, aimed at honoring emerging leaders poised to shape future community and cultural landscapes. The A100 festivities are comprehensive, featuring events such as the A100 Welcome dinner, Gold Women Brunch, and the Gold Gala with on-stage award presentations and a concluding Billboard x Gold House Founders Party.
Gold House's efforts extend beyond celebrations; they are featured in Google's Asian Pacific American Heritage Month video that showcases the community's excellence across culture. Through its various programs and initiatives, Gold House continues to unite, invest in, and champion Asian Pacific creators and companies, fostering a vibrant ecosystem that acknowledges and propels their contributions to society.
