His previous role as Chief Technology Officer at MGM Resorts International saw him spearheading digital transformation efforts that enhanced customer access to various services through mobile and online platforms. Additionally, Veluru's tenure at The Walt Disney Company was marked by his delivery of innovative technology solutions across multiple functions.

Veluru's academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in technology (MTech) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Kanpur, India. He also holds certifications as a Sun Certified Java Enterprise Architect (SCJEA) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
