Falken Motorsports Sets Sights On Victory At Nürburgring Series Opener

Falken Motorsports is gearing up for an exhilarating start to the Nordschleife season with its participation in the upcoming Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) opener. The team will field two Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) cars in the first two races of the year, aiming for top honors at the legendary Nordschleife circuit. With a seasoned lineup of drivers including Alessio Picariello, Joel Eriksson, Martin Ragginger, Tim Heinemann, and Nico Menzel, Falken Motorsports is poised for success.

The season kicks off with a "double-header" weekend, featuring the 64th ADAC ACAS Cup on Saturday, 6 April, followed by the 63rd ADAC Reinoldus Endurance Race on Sunday, 7 April. Each race spans four hours, providing ample opportunity for Falken Motorsports to chase victory while gathering valuable data in preparation for the ADAC Ravenol 24-hour race scheduled for 1st and 2nd June 2024.

Falken Eyes Victory at Nürburgring

Falken's driver lineup showcases a mix of continuity and fresh talent. The #3 Falken Porsche will see Picariello and Ragginger sharing duties across both days, while Eriksson pilots the #4 car throughout the weekend. Menzel will join Eriksson for the season's first race before Heinemann takes over on Sunday. The team also anticipates contributions from Julien Andlauer, Klaus Bachler, and Sven Müller later in the season and at the 24h Race.

After a successful Nordschleife season last year, which included an overall victory at the ROWE 6h ADAC Ruhr Cup race among other achievements, Falken Motorsports is optimistic about its prospects for 2024. This year marks the second season with the current 911 GT3 R from the 992 series, bolstering the team's confidence in competing for top positions from the outset.
