Eric Spencer To Helm Arbitration Forums, Inc. As New President And CEO

Eric Spencer, previously the vice president of Auto Adjusting Services at American Family Insurance, is set to take the helm as president and chief executive officer of Arbitration Forums, Inc. (AF) starting May 20, 2024. This announcement comes as Kathy Mahne, the current president and CEO of AF, steps down from her position. AF, headquartered in Tampa, is recognized as the largest provider of arbitration and subrogation services in the United States. In the year 2023 alone, AF's members submitted over 1.1 million arbitration disputes and nearly 2.4 million subrogation demands, amounting to more than $26.4 billion in claims.

Spencer's appointment is the culmination of a distinguished career in the insurance industry that began in 1987 at Mercury Insurance Company. Over the years, he has ascended through various leadership positions, demonstrating a keen ability to lead highly motivated teams and foster workplace cultures that encourage innovation and performance excellence. His tenure on AF's Board of Directors since October 2020 has given him valuable insight into the organization's operations and strategic direction.

With master’s degrees in organizational management and business administration, Spencer brings a wealth of experience to his new role at AF. His expertise spans organizational transformation, technological development, and process improvement.
