Discovery Senior Living Unveils Discovery Management Group To Streamline Operations

Discovery Senior Living has recently announced a significant organizational change with the formation of Discovery Management Group (DMG), a move that integrates its nationally branded communities under a single management structure. This development is part of the company's strategic evolution towards a more dynamic management model that encompasses both national and regional senior living brands, highlighting Discovery's commitment to enhancing senior living experiences across the United States.

DMG will benefit from the leadership of Dave Adams, who takes on the role of President. Adams, with a rich background in corporate strategic growth and team building, previously worked as a McKinsey Consultant and was the inaugural President of TerraBella Senior Living. His experience also includes leading Discovery’s Acquisition & Transition Team, contributing to the successful expansion of Discovery’s portfolio. Adams' military service as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command further adds to his distinguished career. He is an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the United States Air Force Academy.

Under this new structure, DMG will operate with distinct leadership teams for its eastern and western regions, supported by Discovery Operational Support Centers located in California and Florida. This strategic alignment is aimed at elevating the standard of senior living nationwide while ensuring efficient resource allocation across various locations.
