In a significant recognition of its efforts to foster a more inclusive and representative cyber community, CompTIA, the esteemed nonprofit association for the information technology (IT) industry and workforce, has been awarded the Cyber Diversity Award by The EMiC Network. This accolade was presented at a prestigious black-tie gala in Wolverhampton, England, highlighting CompTIA's Cyber Ready programme as the Best Cyber Project for Diversity. The programme is celebrated for its innovative approaches to enhancing diversity within the cybersecurity field.

The Cyber Diversity Awards are dedicated to acknowledging those actively promoting diversity and making noteworthy contributions to the cybersecurity sector. By spotlighting the critical role of diversity in cybersecurity, the awards aim to motivate further efforts towards creating a more inclusive environment. Zeshan Sattar, senior director of industry relations for EMEA at CompTIA, expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the programme's commitment to opening up opportunities in cybersecurity through comprehensive training and support.
