Buc-ee’s To Unveil New Travel Center In Hillsboro, TX With Grand Opening On April 21

Buc-ee’s, the renowned travel center celebrated for its spotless restrooms, freshly prepared food, and the iconic friendly beaver mascot, is set to open its latest location in Hillsboro, Texas. The grand unveiling is scheduled for Sunday, April 21, 2024, starting with the doors opening at 6 a.m. CDT followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. CDT. Situated at 165 State Highway 77, at the northeast corner of I-35 and HWY 77, the new Buc-ee’s Hillsboro will span 74,000 square feet and feature 120 fueling stations.

Patrons can look forward to indulging in Buc-ee’s signature offerings such as Texas barbeque, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky, and fresh pastries. The ribbon-cutting event will see the presence of Hillsboro Mayor Scott Johnson, members of the Hillsboro City Council, City Manager Megan Henderson, Economic Development Director Art Mann, Hill County Judge Justin Lewis, and the Hill County Commissioners Court.

With the addition of Buc-ee’s Hillsboro, the company will boast a total of 49 stores across Texas and other Southern states. This expansion is part of Buc-ee’s growth strategy initiated in 2019 which has seen new travel centers opening in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, and Colorado. Furthermore, Buc-ee’s has recently started construction on its first locations in Virginia and Mississippi.
