BEYOND Expo 2025 Celebrates 5th Anniversary As Asia's Leading Technology Event In Macao

BEYOND Expo 2025 is celebrating its fifth anniversary at The Venetian® Macao's Cotai Expo, solidifying its status as Asia's premier technology event. With the theme "Empowering Asia, Bridging the World," the expo has become a hub for over 800 companies from diverse sectors like AI, HealthTech, Clean Energy, and Robotics, among others.

The expo kicked off with an Opening Ceremony that featured discussions by eminent Asian tech leaders, including Dr. Jian Wang from Zhejiang Lab and Alibaba Cloud, Carl Pei of Nothing, Dr. Burt Guo from Sichuan Aerofugia Technology Development CO., LTD, Zhaopeng Chen of Agile Robots SE, and Jingkang Liu from Insta360. These pioneers gathered to deliberate on the future of technology under the theme 'What's Next?'

Unveiling the BEYOND Founders Club

A significant highlight of the Opening Ceremony was the introduction of the BEYOND Founders Club (BFC), aiming to establish a premier community for up-and-coming Asian tech entrepreneurs. This initiative seeks to shape the future business landscape and address global issues through collaboration.

"When we first established BEYOND Expo in 2021 we wanted to showcase the technological advancement of Asia. This global convergence of the best minds – where groundbreaking ideas meet transformative technologies, realizes our vision of 'Empowering Asia, Bridging the World.' We are delighted to be celebrating our fifth year with over 800 companies, the largest number of participants to date from all over the world," explained Dr. Lu Gang, Co-Founder of BEYOND Expo.

The BEYOND Founders Club, with its 30 founding members, aims to be a catalyst for global tech trends, bringing together industry leaders and innovators. "We are committed to bringing successful tech visionaries together to share their learning and inspire others. Launching the BEYOND Founders Club reinforces our belief that tech serves humanity. The founding members are driven by the mission to guide the next generation in the pursuit of sustainable technological solutions to tackle global challenges," said Jason Ho, Co-Founder of BEYOND Expo.

Fostering Innovation and Investment

BEYOND Expo offers a packed schedule of panel discussions and sessions with over 300 speakers across various summits, including the Global Investment Summit and AI Summit. These discussions aim to explore and promote innovative ideas in technology and investment.

Investor engagement is a focal point of the expo, underscored by events like the Wealth Summit and the Fund at First Pitch. These initiatives, in cooperation with the Asian Family Legacy Foundation (AFLF) and Greenwich Economic Forum (GEF), have drawn over 150 companies and more than 100 investors, providing a platform for funding opportunities for participating startups.

Post-ceremony, a media meet-and-greet at the VIP Lounge showcased over 40 cutting-edge companies, unveiling innovations like robotic dogs, 3D scanners, and advanced computing clusters.

Watch out for summits that include Global Investment Summit, Asia-Latam Forum, SHETech Summit and BEYOND Wealth Summit. One major highlight is the The UAE's premier sustainability award, the Zayed Sustainability Prize, which has been a beacon for recognizing and promoting solutions in sustainability since its inception in 2008.

Named in honour of the Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, this prestigious award collaborates with the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF) to host the Zayed Sustainability Prize Forum.

The event is hosted at The Venetian® Macao's Cotai Expo, a leading venue in Macao and one of the largest MICE venues in Asia. The expo benefits from its location within Sands® Resorts Macao, which offers extensive MICE space, luxury accommodations, and a variety of entertainment and dining options. The recent addition of Londoner Grand within The Londoner® Macao exemplifies the ongoing expansion and commitment to luxury and innovation.

The event, which is set to attract more than 25,000 visitors and over 800 investors, highlights the latest advancements and fosters connections within the tech community from May 22-24, 2025. BEYOND Expo 2025 not only celebrates technological achievements but also emphasizes the importance of collaboration and innovation in addressing global challenges.
