In a remarkable fusion of luxury and tradition, The Macallan has joined forces with Bentley Motors to unveil a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky named The Macallan Horizon. This collaboration stands as a testament to the shared values of excellence and innovation between two iconic brands, marking a significant milestone in their histories. Celebrating The Macallan's 200-year anniversary, this partnership not only honors the legacy of exceptional single malt whisky making but also ventures into the future with a bold new design and approach.

The Macallan Horizon distinguishes itself with a visionary design, encapsulated in a horizontal vessel that boasts a unique 180-degree twist. This design choice mirrors the forward-moving trajectory of the automotive industry, while also paying homage to the craftsmanship and heritage of both The Macallan and Bentley. The vessel's exterior is adorned with low carbon leather, highlighting the collaboration's commitment to sustainability. Additionally, a copper frame made from recycled materials, including copper from The Macallan's retired stills, encases the sculpture, further emphasizing the blend of tradition and innovation.

The whisky's closure features an oak wood inlay from one of the six casks used in its maturation process, drawing inspiration from Bentley's Drive Dynamic Control rotary dial. Completing the design is Bentley's Crown Cut Walnut veneer, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail that characterizes both brands. Crafted by The Macallan Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell, The Macallan Horizon is a bold single malt Scotch that embodies dried fruit, spice, oak, and leather notes, reflecting the luxurious essence of Bentley.

Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, praised The Macallan Horizon as an "incredible joint product" that captures the essence of both brands. Similarly, Jaume Ferras, Creative Director of The Macallan, described this venture as "the most complex and visionary whisky endeavor" for the brand. This collaboration challenges conventional whisky bottling methods by exploring new design territories and drawing inspiration from Bentley's grand tourers.

Available in a 70cl bottle, The Macallan Horizon is a highly exclusive release that can be acquired from The Macallan Estate Boutique, along with domestic and travel retail boutiques and select premium off-trade retailers.
