Aston Martin Valhalla Makes Dynamic Public Debut Ahead Of Monaco Grand Prix Weekend
Aston Martin marked a significant chapter in its 112-year legacy with the dynamic public debut of the Valhalla supercar in Monaco, just before the Formula One® Grand Prix weekend. Piloted by Fernando Alonso, a two-time Formula One World Champion and driver for the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® team, the Valhalla showcased its prowess on the renowned Monaco street circuit. T
The Valhalla stands out as Aston Martin's first venture into several new territories: it is their initial series production mid-engined supercar and their premier plug-in hybrid. It also represents the brand's first production model featuring dedicated EV range capability. Production of the Valhalla, limited to 999 units, is scheduled to commence in the second half of 2025.

This supercar introduces Aston Martin's custom 4.0-litre twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8 engine, touted as the most powerful V8 engine ever installed in an Aston Martin vehicle. Additionally, it debuts the marque's brand-new 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), incorporating an e-Motor and an electronic rear differential (E-diff), along with the inaugural application of new front axle twin motors that allow for torque vectoring and enhance the all-wheel drive system.
Fernando Alonso expressed his excitement about the Valhalla's dynamic debut, stating, "Having followed this project closely for the past 18 months and working alongside the development team, unveiling Valhalla's dynamic capability to the world at the Monaco Grand Prix weekend is a fantastic moment for both myself and the brand.
Taking Aston Martin's unmatched luxury credentials and added cutting-edge F1® inspired technology and class-leading performance, I can confirm Valhalla is a true supercar both on road and on track. Outside of the outright power and dynamics, it delivers on all of the raw feelings and emotions you look for when behind the wheel of a car like Valhalla."
The Valhalla's integration of Formula 1® performance-driven technologies, developed in close collaboration with Aston Martin Performance Technologies (AMPT) – the consulting arm of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1® Team – has significantly influenced its design and development. This partnership has enhanced the supercar's dynamics, aerodynamics, and materials, contributing to its exceptional handling, hybrid powertrain, and unmatched driving dynamics.
The supercar's unveiling in Monte Carlo, adorned in an AMR25 race car inspired Podium Green with a Lime Green livery, was not just a demonstration of its impressive capabilities but also a tribute to Aston Martin's storied history. With Fernando Alonso behind the wheel, the Valhalla navigated the iconic streets of Monaco, including Casino Square and the Tunnel, pushing the vehicle to its limits.
Adrian Hallmark, the CEO of Aston Martin, commented on this milestone, saying, "The extreme performance and unprecedented dynamic bandwidth that distinguishes Valhalla from its rivals presented many new opportunities to both the engineering and design teams throughout its development. To witness the culmination of the tireless work from all teams involved, showcased on an iconic F1® circuit like Monaco and driven by an icon like Fernando is a significant moment in Aston Martin's rich history of both road cars and racing."
