Aston Martin Unveils DB12 S: The New Pinnacle Of Luxury Performance For Enthusiasts

Aston Martin has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the DB12 S, marking a new era in its storied lineage of 'S' badged vehicles, which signifies the most performance-intensive versions of their models.

This tradition of distinction began in 1953 with the DB3S and has since seen the likes of the Vanquish S, Vantage S models, and the Rapide S, each embodying the zenith of performance and luxury.

The DB12 S joins this elite group, enhancing the already dynamic DB12 with increased power, dynamic capabilities, and substantial upgrades both inside and out, setting a new benchmark for the Super Tourer segment.

At the core of the DB12 S lies a more powerful iteration of Aston Martin's formidable 4.0-Litre Twin-Turbo V8 engine. Now producing 700PS at 6000rpm and delivering 800Nm of torque across a wide rev range, the DB12 S promises breathtaking acceleration and a top speed of 202mph.

This surge in power is complemented by a distinctive new exhaust note, thanks to a quad tailpipe stainless steel sports exhaust system. An optional titanium exhaust further enhances this auditory experience while also reducing weight, adding to the vehicle's dynamic capabilities.

Improvements extend to the vehicle's chassis and handling, with software updates to the Bilstein DTX dampers and adjustments to the rear anti-roll bar and wheel alignment settings. These changes, alongside a more responsive steering calibration and electronic rear differential, amplify the DB12 S's agility and driver engagement.

Aston Martin has also equipped the DB12 S with Carbon Ceramic Brakes as standard, enhancing braking performance and reducing unsprung weight, thus improving ride quality and dynamic handling.
