NORTH AYRSHIRE, UK. April 16th, 2024 – Arran Events is thrilled to announce the return of the Arran Rock & Blues Festival in Lochranza on the picturesque Isle of Arran, Scotland's southernmost island off the west coast. Scheduled from Friday, May 3rd to Sunday, May 5th, 2024, the festival is set against a backdrop of stunning mountains, a medieval castle, and an award-winning whisky distillery. The event promises a rich blend of rock and blues music, complemented by the finest local cuisine and spirits.

Hosted by John Beattie, a former rugby union international and Radio Scotland broadcaster, this family-friendly festival offers an intimate setting with two main stages and an acoustic stage at the Lochranza Country Inn. The Arran Single Malt stage, sponsored by Arran Distillery, will feature in a marquee on the main site, inviting guests to explore and sample some of Scotland's finest whiskys.

The festival not only celebrates music but also embraces the island's breathtaking scenery and wildlife. It's an invitation to music enthusiasts, foodies, whisky aficionados, and nature lovers to experience the unique charm of the Scottish Isles.

The festival kicks off on Friday night at Lochranza Village Hall with performances by the John Beattie Band and the Sensational Alex Harvey Experience. The weekend continues with an impressive lineup of artists set to perform on Saturday and Sunday. Notable acts include Dr Feelguid, Anchor Lane, Andy Taylor Group, The Sharpeez, Tiderays, Long Road Home, Lynsey Dolan Band, Rigid Soul, Little Miss Debby, George Lindsay Band, The Gator John Beattie Band, Blackleaf 40, Miller Crossain, among others. Additionally, several acoustic performers will grace the stage at the Lochranza Country Inn.

With gates opening at 11am on both days, attendees are in for a treat with an array of musical talents. The festival not only offers a platform for mainly Scottish artists but also serves as a celebration of Scotland's rich cultural heritage through music, food, and drink. Surrounded by Lochranza's natural beauty and wildlife – including the village's beloved red deer – the Arran Rock & Blues Festival is more than just an event; it's an experience that encapsulates the spirit of Scotland.
