AeroGuard Teams Up With China Airlines To Train Future Cadet Pilots
AeroGuard Flight Training Center, renowned for its ab initio pilot training, has recently announced a significant partnership with Taiwan's China Airlines. This collaboration is set to enhance AeroGuard's global presence by providing professional training to the next generation of pilots for one of the world's leading airlines. The agreement positions AeroGuard as the chosen flight training provider for China Airlines' cadet pilots, underlining its reputation for delivering high-quality pilot training.
The 11-month program, approved by the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA), will see cadets applying directly through China Airlines and undergoing a screening process by the airline before joining AeroGuard’s Phoenix, Arizona, location. This site offers an optimal training environment with favorable weather conditions, suitable airspace availability and complexity, and additional support for students. AeroGuard's selection by China Airlines is attributed to its structured curriculum and over 20 years of experience in producing skilled pilots for major airlines globally.

China Airlines, one of Taiwan’s largest national carriers, joins other prestigious airlines like Cathay Pacific and Air India in choosing AeroGuard for their cadet training programs. Joel Davidson, CEO of AeroGuard, expressed pride in this partnership, highlighting it as a testament to the trust and confidence that industry leaders have in AeroGuard's training capabilities. He emphasized the company's commitment to contributing to the development of highly skilled pilots for the aviation industry.
This partnership marks a period of strategic growth for AeroGuard, with plans to significantly expand its training capacity and resources. Currently operating a fleet of 100 aircraft with over 200 instructors, AeroGuard anticipates doubling its fleet size following a recent order of 90 additional planes from Piper Aircraft. This expansion aims to accommodate up to 2,000 students across its three U.S. campuses, further solidifying its position as a leading provider of ab initio pilot training globally.
With more than 20 years of experience in training airline-ready cadets, AeroGuard Flight Training Center has established itself as a premier choice for airlines seeking professional and high-quality ab initio training programs. The center boasts over one million flight hours of training experience and has graduated over 7,000 cadets, demonstrating its commitment to safety and student success across its accelerated commercial pilot training programs.
