UAE And Russia Forge Stronger Cultural Bonds With Focus On Cinema And Arts
Alexey Fursin, Minister of Moscow Government and Head of the Moscow Department of Culture, emphasised Russia's dedication to enhancing its relationship with the UAE, particularly in culture and cinema. He praised the UAE's swift advancements in these fields through film festivals, cultural centres, and top-tier production facilities.
During a statement to Emirates News Agency (WAM) at the recently concluded Moscow International Film Festival, Fursin noted the UAE's strong commitment to promoting its culture globally. He added that the UAE's participation in the film week underscores the robust relationship between the two nations and reiterated their commitment to further strengthening cultural ties.

Fursin expressed admiration for the UAE's cultural and cinematic progress. He pointed out that Emirati filmmakers are gaining international recognition for their work, which blends tradition with modernity. This reflects the country's dedication to nurturing its creative industries.
The Minister highlighted mutual respect for cultural heritage between Russia and the UAE. Cooperation is steadily increasing through participation in each other's cultural events. Moscow International Film Festival Highlights
The Moscow International Film Festival is a major event in the film industry. Held from 23rd to 28th August in Moscow, it featured participation from over 40 countries. The festival included screenings of more than 300 films along with numerous training sessions and workshops led by Russian and international experts.
