UAE President's Cup Series For Arabian Horses Set To Debut At Paris Longchamp Racecourse In May 2025
The UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses is set to make its European debut on 11 May 2025. This event, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will take place at Paris Longchamp Racecourse. The race is part of the Emirates Poules d’Essai French Guineas weekend and features a prize of €350,000.
Organised with France Galop, this event aims to enhance Arabian horse racing's global reputation. It preserves cultural heritage while fostering international participation. The race will feature six top horses aged four and above, representing leading owners and stables from the region.

This Group 1 Purebred Arabian race includes notable entries such as Murad, RB Kingmaker, and Al Zubair. These horses are owned by prominent figures like YAS Horse Racing Management and Al Shaqab Racing. The lineup highlights the race's significance in the international Arabian racing scene.
Alongside this event are two renowned thoroughbred races: Race 5 for colts with a €650,000 prize and Race 6 for fillies offering €550,000. These races mark the beginning of France’s classic flat season, dating back to 1883.
Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, expressed pride in the series' success in Tunisia and Morocco. He stated: "We are proud of the remarkable success achieved in the series’ earlier stops in Tunisia and Morocco." His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed’s leadership has elevated the UAE Cup to international standards.
Al Dhaheri further noted that France is a competitive leg on the circuit. He added: "France is one of the most competitive legs on the circuit." The quality of entries inspires owners to invest more in Arabian horses globally.
