UAE Commits To Knowledge-Based Future Under Guidance Of Fatima Bint Mubarak
H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, known as the "Mother of the Nation," has reiterated the UAE's steadfast commitment to a future based on knowledge and human development. As Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), Sheikha Fatima highlighted the nation's dedication to creating a robust developmental framework rooted in education and innovation.
Speaking at the 17th Khalifa Award for Education, where she received the "Honorary Educational Personality Award," Sheikha Fatima emphasised the UAE's focus on nurturing a knowledge-based economy. She noted that the country is investing significant resources to achieve this goal, aiming to align with its people's aspirations.

The award recognises Sheikha Fatima's pivotal role in advancing education, fostering excellence, and promoting educational initiatives locally, regionally, and globally. She reaffirmed that education is crucial for shaping the nation's future and remains a top priority for UAE leadership.
Sheikha Fatima acknowledged the support of UAE leaders, including President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.
Sheikha Fatima also highlighted the importance of family in complementing state efforts to nurture future generations. She stressed that parents, particularly mothers, play a crucial role in instilling values, morals, and a sense of national identity in their children. She urged parents to embrace their roles with love, respect, and understanding to foster environments conducive to holistic development.
"We emphasise the importance of concerted efforts and joint work to protect families from risks in a world full of fluctuations resulting from digital age challenges," said Sheikha Fatima. She also stressed the need to protect cultural heritage and authentic identity.
