UAE Crown Prince Leads Delegation At World Without Hunger Conference In Addis Ababa
H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, represented the UAE at the World Without Hunger Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event was opened by Dr Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of Ethiopia, with senior officials and experts from various organisations attending. The conference focuses on agriculture and food security.
The conference is organised with support from the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), the African Union Commission, and the Ethiopian government. It aims to explore new technologies and sustainable practices for global food security. The goal is to enhance collaboration and partnerships among stakeholders worldwide.
Key topics include agricultural production, energy sector relations, financing, food safety, infrastructure, and technology in agriculture. Discussions also cover women's and youth's roles in agriculture development and investment opportunities in these sectors to strengthen global food security.

The Crown Prince expressed appreciation to Ethiopia for hosting the conference and inviting the UAE. His delegation included Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Reem Al Hashimy, Saif Saeed Ghobash, Mohamed Salem Al Rashdi, and Omran Anwar Sharaf Al Hashemi.
