Trusity's TruPreneurs Programme Celebrates Empowering Young Entrepreneurs In Dubai

The conclusion of Trusity's latest truPreneurs programme marks a significant milestone in the mission to cultivate entrepreneurial acumen among the youth. This innovative programme has crowned Harsimar Kaur Chhatwal and Dhwani Mehta from Raffles World Academy, alongside Gauri Nanda Salu from Indian High School, as the winners of the 'Best Startup Pitch Award’. Their projects, Teenedge and HealthSync respectively, have not only won them a startup funding package of AED 10,000 each but also mentorship opportunities to further develop their ideas.

Rajani Nalla, the Founder and CEO of Trusity, expressed enthusiasm over the participants' innovation and dedication. "We are thrilled to witness the incredible innovation and dedication showcased by these young students. Each idea exemplifies our core values of creativity, sustainability, and social responsibility," Nalla stated. The programme, rooted in a blend of international entrepreneurship frameworks and real-world insights, aimed at equipping young minds with the skills needed to navigate the complexities of the business world.

Empowering Dubai s Young Entrepreneurs

The truPreneurs programme is distinguished by its dynamic curriculum, incorporating Stanford's Design Thinking Process, the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp), and practical insights from TED Talks and Guy Kawasaki's 10/20/30 Rule. This comprehensive approach has resulted in a transformative experience for participants, enabling them to develop effective business models, validate market ideas, and deliver persuasive pitches.

Throughout this journey, students were exposed to a variety of innovative business ideas, from healthcare solutions to sustainable initiatives and technological innovations. The competition, assessed on criteria such as idea uniqueness, market viability, and presentation skills, saw a panel of industry experts, investors, and entrepreneurs select the winners for their standout performances.

Teenedge, developed by 16-year-old entrepreneurs Harsimar Kaur Chhatwal and Dhwani Mehta, aims to be a holistic platform for high schoolers, providing resources for university admissions, community building, and access to internships, volunteering, and scholarships. On the other hand, 17-year-old Gauri Nanda Salu's HealthSync proposes an innovative health solution for Indian expatriates to monitor their family's health remotely, featuring medical report scans, data analysis, and status updates to bridge geographical divides.

The success of this edition of the truPreneurs programme reaffirms Trusity's dedication to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. By equipping young innovators with essential skills, knowledge, and support, Trusity continues to prepare them for future challenges and opportunities in the entrepreneurial landscape, thereby fostering a positive impact on society.
