TRENDS Research & Advisory Engages In Strategic Cooperation With Belgian Institutions
TRENDS Research & Advisory initiated its research tour in Belgium by engaging with the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Royal Institute for International Relations, known as Egmont. The session aimed to explore potential collaborations between TRENDS and Belgian think tanks, academic institutions, and universities. The focus was on exchanging knowledge and expertise while organising joint research and scientific events.
The meeting underscored the potential for long-term cooperation through joint studies and academic exchanges. Discussions also touched on Belgium's strategic priorities in the Gulf region, examining how TRENDS' regional and international expertise could support policymaking, foster mutual understanding, and enhance diplomatic efforts.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, emphasised the centre's dedication to expanding its global presence through strategic partnerships. He highlighted that participants stressed the importance of collaboration between research institutions in the Middle East and North Africa with their European counterparts.
