Total Contracts Signed At IDEX And NAVDEX 2025 Amount To AED 23.72 Billion Over Four Days
The Tawazun Council, responsible for acquisitions and contracts for the Ministry of Defense and security agencies, announced 12 new agreements worth AED3.77 billion. These deals were signed with both local and international companies on the fourth day of IDEX and NAVDEX 2025. This brings the total number of contracts over the four-day event to 40, with a combined value of AED23.72 billion.
During a press conference, Tawazun Council’s spokespersons Majed Ahmed Al Jaberi, Mohammed Saif Al Zaabi, and Mahra Bilal Al Dhaheri shared details about these agreements. The exhibitions are held under the patronage of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and organised by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and Tawazun Council.

Mahra Bilal Al Dhaheri disclosed that seven local contracts signed on the fourth day amounted to AED1.25 billion. Among these was a contract with International Golden Group for ammunition supply valued at AED488 million. Another agreement was made with AM Industries for shooting range targets worth AED4.54 million.
Bayanat secured a deal for implementing and developing the Tarjama program for AED6 million. Emirates Motor Company received a contract worth AED10 million for maintenance, repair, and spare parts supply services. Itqan AL Khaleej Computers was awarded an AED22.5 million contract for technical support services.
Mohammed Saif Al Zaabi highlighted five international contracts totaling AED2.51 billion on the fourth day. An agreement with Italy's Leonardo involved procuring Agusta AW-139 helicopters for AED219.1 million. Germany's Rohde & Schwarz secured a deal worth AED10.8 million for radio reconnaissance systems acquisition.
Nexter from France signed an AED766 million contract to provide spare parts, repair, and technical support for Leclerc tanks. A Swedish company, SAAB, agreed to offer maintenance services for G6000 SRSS early warning aircraft at a cost of AED753 million.
Commitment to Defence Excellence
The American company Lockheed Martin entered into an agreement valued at AED764.6 million to supply spare parts and technical support services for Black Hawk helicopters. Majid Ahmed Al Jaberi reiterated Tawazun Council’s dedication to maintaining high-quality standards in defence acquisitions.
He emphasised their focus on strategic acquisitions that secure advanced defence solutions while implementing best global procurement practices. This ensures that the UAE's defence sector remains competitive globally and is prepared for future challenges.
The final local contract awarded was to Trust for purchasing a fire support system valued at AED487.7 million. Additionally, National Factory for Safety and Security Products received an AED233 million deal to supply military footwear.
