Sultan Bin Ahmed Hosts Brainstorming Session To Enhance Tamayuz Award For Institutional Excellence
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Institutional Excellence Award (Tamayuz), expressed appreciation to all organisations participating in the award's inaugural edition. Their involvement highlights a commitment to improving performance, striving for excellence, and enhancing service delivery across various sectors.
The brainstorming session began with a film viewed by H.H. Sheikh Sultan and attendees. It examined competition among major global companies and their efforts to implement governance. The film also addressed challenges faced by industries in the competitive global market.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan stressed that the award's primary goal is to motivate organisations to enhance performance and achieve excellence. He noted that the brainstorming session serves as a platform for gathering new ideas and feedback to refine the award, examining its categories and criteria, while recognising successes and areas needing improvement.
The film concluded by emphasising the importance of institutional achievements over individual accomplishments. It highlighted decision-making based on consultation rather than unilateral approaches, underscoring realism in organisational decisions.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan highlighted that while there are many paths, the ultimate goal is institutional excellence. He stressed establishing a culture of excellence within institutions and employees to ensure its continuity and sustainability in the future.
