FedEx Corporation, with an annual revenue of US$88 billion and over 500,000 employees across more than 220 countries, plays a pivotal role in this vision. The company’s long-standing presence in Dubai since 1989 through FedEx Express and the establishment of its regional headquarters underscores the strategic importance of the city as a logistics hub. The recent launch of a $350 million (AED1.3 billion) state-of-the-art air and ground hub at Dubai World Central (DWC) Airport further cements this relationship.
The new FedEx Express hub at DWC Airport is poised to significantly enhance the logistics capabilities within the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, and Africa (MEISA) region. This facility is not only pivotal for the region but also integrates seamlessly into FedEx’s global air network, connecting 220 countries and territories worldwide.
FedEx officials expressed their strong commitment to expanding the company's presence in the region from its Dubai base. They acknowledged Dubai’s strategic location and robust infrastructure as key factors in enhancing their service offerings and unlocking new opportunities for growth and excellence.

Their participation underscores the collective effort towards fostering a conducive environment for logistics and trade advancements in Dubai.
This collaboration between Dubai and FedEx exemplifies the city’s strategic approach to leveraging partnerships with global leaders in logistics to enhance its economic landscape and achieve its ambitious goals. With these developments, Dubai continues to solidify its position as a leading global economic player and a bridge between international markets.
