Reflecting on the first batch of SPAA students, which included 13 male and female students, H.H. noted that the small number was due to a stringent selection process focused on outstanding talent. The current batch consists of 49 students, indicating an increase in talented applicants.

H.H. wished all graduates success in their future endeavours and encouraged them to pass on the knowledge they have acquired. The graduation ceremony, held at the academy’s theatre, began with the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Peter Barlow, Executive Director of SPAA, expressed gratitude to H.H. for his efforts in establishing the academy. He highlighted the effectiveness of SPAA in providing much-needed professional training and education in the region.

Dr. Barlow announced that SPAA is ready to launch a Master of Fine Arts programme and will begin constructing the new College of Music next September. Additionally, SPAA will host the "World Stage Design" event, a significant international event being held for the first time in an Arab country.

He discussed the artist’s mission and societal role, emphasising its importance during times of crisis. Dr. Barlow quoted H.H., stating: "Theatre has an important role in serving societal issues, and attention must be paid to serious theatre, which constitutes a national push and alerts to dangers besetting the nation."

Dr. Barlow concluded his speech by advising graduates to adhere to values and ethics and strive to be true artists. He urged them to use their art responsibly and contribute positively to society.

The ceremony concluded with H.H. distributing certificates to graduates amid great joy from their families. His Highness also took a group photo with the graduates.
