During the event, Mona Sultan Al Suwaidi, Director of the Executive Office of the SCCI’s Chairman and responsible for the Emirati Goldsmiths Platform, engaged in discussions with MIDA officials and jewellery design experts. These conversations explored future collaborations aimed at advancing the craft of goldsmithing and jewellery making.

The visit also included educational trips to various Italian museums, art, and design schools, including the Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Firenze. This institution is known for its comprehensive training courses in jewellery and gemstone making, led by a team of seasoned professionals. The Emirati delegation's interactions with the Alchimia School staff focused on potential cooperation to promote Emirati designs and expand their reach into global markets.

Additionally, the Emirati designers participated in specialized craft workshops as part of the International Handicraft Exhibition’s program. These sessions, led by renowned international designers, covered various aspects of gold and jewellery crafting techniques. The agenda also featured guided tours to Florence's Silver Museum and notable perfume factories, enriching the delegates' understanding of craftsmanship beyond jewellery.

Mona Sultan Al Suwaidi emphasized that the SCCI's involvement in MIDA was not limited to showcasing Emirati craftsmanship but also included active participation in educational activities. These efforts are aligned with the SCCI's mission to position the UAE as a leading hub for jewellery design and manufacturing on both regional and international levels. The Chamber's commitment to nurturing Emirati talent is evident in its strategic initiatives aimed at elevating their artistic endeavors to new heights.
