Saudi Arabia Showcases Logistics Sector Advancements At Transport Logistic 2025 In Munich
The "Transport Logistic 2025" exhibition commenced in Munich, Germany, featuring the Saudi pavilion. This event is a collaboration between the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) and the "Invest Saudi" initiative. The pavilion hosts over 22 entities from Saudi Arabia's industry, transport, and logistics sectors, alongside the Ministry of Investment.
On the first day, five major agreements were signed to boost collaboration within the logistics sector. These agreements aim to enhance supply-chain efficiency and attract high-quality investments. Additionally, six specialized workshops were conducted, focusing on infrastructure developments, digital transformation, special economic zones, logistics integration, and human capital development opportunities.

The main session titled "It's Happening: Saudi Logistics Now" featured NIDLP Chief Executive Eng. Suliman Almazroua. He highlighted Saudi Arabia's transformation journey in logistics. Almazroua emphasized creating interconnected systems through strong government-private partnerships to support Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
Two focused sessions were part of the workshop. The first session discussed sector enablers like talent development and strengthening logistics systems. Participants included SLA Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Alabdulkarim and NIDLP Deputy Chief Executive for Logistics Services Eng. Mousa Albarqi.
The second session concentrated on ports' roles and Maersk's investment in Jeddah Islamic Port. This investment aims to improve logistics services and operational capabilities in Saudi ports, reinforcing its international maritime prominence. Speakers included Mawani Vice President Abdullah Al-Munif and Maersk Logistics Hub head Eng. Peter Knapp.
Internal workshops at the Saudi Pavilion underscored logistics as a crucial economic enabler. They showcased national case studies on empowering logistics hubs, advancing regulatory frameworks, and expanding localization of specialized talent. These efforts strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a global logistics hub connecting three continents.
The exhibition will continue with bilateral meetings, more agreement signings, and interactive workshops at the Saudi pavilion in the coming days. These activities are part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to showcase progress in logistics and transport fields while strengthening supply-chain investment to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
