Saudi Entities Launch Transport Logistic 2025 In Munich To Enhance Logistics Collaboration

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched its participation in the Transport Logistic 2025 exhibition in Munich, Germany. This initiative is spearheaded by the Saudi Pavilion, a collaboration between the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) and "Invest Saudi." The pavilion features over 22 entities from Saudi Arabia's industry, transport, and logistics sectors, alongside the Ministry of Investment.

On the first day of the event, five key agreements were signed to boost collaboration within the logistics sector. These agreements aim to enhance supply chain efficiency and attract quality investments. Additionally, six specialized workshops were conducted focusing on infrastructure developments, digital transformation, special economic zones, logistics integration, and human capital development opportunities.

The main session titled "It's Happening: Saudi Logistics Now" included insights from Eng. Suliman Almazroua, CEO of NIDLP. He discussed the Kingdom's transformation in logistics through interconnected systems and strong government-private partnerships. These efforts align with Saudi Vision 2030's goals.

Workshops at the Saudi Pavilion emphasized logistics as a crucial economic enabler. They showcased national case studies on empowering logistics hubs, advancing regulatory frameworks, and expanding localization of specialized talent. These initiatives aim to strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a global logistics hub connecting three continents.

The workshops featured two focused sessions. The first addressed sector enablers like talent development and strengthening logistics systems. Participants included Dr. Abdullah Alabdulkarim from the Saudi Logistics Academy; Eng. Mousa Albarqi from NIDLP; and Nouf Alfares from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services.

The second session highlighted ports' roles and Maersk's investment in Jeddah Islamic Port to enhance logistics services. Speakers included Abdullah Al-Munif from Mawani and Eng. Peter Knapp from Maersk Logistics Hub in Jeddah.

Future Activities at the Exhibition

Activities at the Saudi Pavilion will continue with bilateral meetings, more agreement signings, and interactive workshops. These efforts are part of ongoing initiatives to showcase Saudi Arabia's logistics advancements, strengthen supply chain investments, and achieve Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
