The Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has recently unveiled a significant update regarding the operation of duty-free markets within the arrival lounges across all land, sea, and air customs checkpoints in the Kingdom. This move aims to streamline customs duties and tax exemptions for travelers entering Saudi Arabia, setting clear guidelines on purchase limits and allowable quantities of goods.

Additionally, for those looking to buy cigarettes, the authority has capped the quantity at 200 cigarettes per individual.
