The initiative aimed to empower Emirati students from public and private schools across all UAE emirates. It focused on modern technology fields like coding and robotics. The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their skills and knowledge in these areas.

Mubarmij50 began last year with coding clubs established in participating schools. These clubs have attracted over 10,000 students so far. Participants gained access to various courses and programmes offered by Sandooq Al Watan in collaboration with Al Dar Education.

The final competitions saw 1,200 students organised into 634 teams presenting their projects to a panel of judges. This setup allowed participants to share their experiences and innovative ideas. The event was a culmination of several key phases designed to foster student engagement in technology.

Al Gergawi noted that Mubarmij50 is positioning the UAE as a future hub for top coders and inventors worldwide. The initiative reflects a commitment to developing technological skills among young Emiratis, preparing them for future challenges.

The success of Mubarmij50 underscores its importance in shaping future innovators. By providing opportunities for skill development in coding and robotics, it contributes significantly to the UAE's vision of becoming a leader in technology education.
