Ras Al Khaimah Highlights Growth And Investment Opportunities At Make It In The Emirates Conference
The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah is preparing to highlight its rapid growth, investment prospects, and competitive strengths at the Make it in the Emirates 2025 event. This four-day conference is a key platform for showcasing the UAE's industrial potential, bringing together innovators, investors, and policymakers under the theme "Advanced Industries. Accelerated".
Among the participants are prominent entities like Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), Ras Al Khaimah Chamber, RAK Ceramics, and Julphar Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries. These organisations will present Ras Al Khaimah's diverse economic landscape and recent cross-sector growth. The Emirate has seen significant investments in hospitality, such as the Wynn Al Marjan Island resort, while maintaining a balanced economic profile with no single sector contributing more than 27% to GDP.

RAKEZ serves as a major business hub in Ras Al Khaimah, housing over 30,000 companies ranging from SMEs to large manufacturers. At the event, RAKEZ will share a booth with RAK Chamber to highlight investment opportunities, available land, and warehousing options. The focus will be on attracting businesses looking to establish or expand their operations within the Emirate.
A spokesperson from the Ras Al Khaimah Government stated that "Make it in the Emirates is a key component of the UAE’s vision to be a global industrial hub and provides the ideal platform for Ras Al Khaimah to highlight its position as one of the fastest growing and most economically diversified regions in the Middle East." The spokesperson emphasised that Ras Al Khaimah offers numerous opportunities for businesses due to its strategic location and investor-friendly regulations.
RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad will participate in a panel discussion titled ‘Synergies in the UAE’s Industrial Landscape’. This session will explore strategic collaborations among leading industrial zones in the UAE. Discussions will cover incentives and policies driving success and how RAKEZ contributes to enhancing industrial localisation and investment attraction.
In line with these efforts, RAKEZ recently signed an AED1.1 billion agreement with THi to develop a 130,000 square-metre industrial park for advanced technology companies. This project is expected to create 2,500 jobs. Additionally, an agreement with Faraday Future will establish a AED30 million luxury electric vehicle assembly plant in Ras Al Khaimah, generating 200 jobs.
Showcasing Local Industry Successes
The RAK Chamber aims to present Ras Al Khaimah as an attractive location for industrial investment by highlighting successes in sectors like manufacturing, building materials, food, and technology. The Chamber will also host discussions on enhancing public-private partnerships and promoting local industrial products during the event.
RAK Ceramics plans to showcase its extensive range of products at MIITE. The company's Group CEO Abdullah Massaad will join a panel on elevating the 'Made in the Emirates' brand globally through high-quality infrastructure. Other participating companies include RAKNOR concrete products, Gulf Cement Company, Streit Group, Spatial Composite Solutions, and more.
Julphar Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries is also set to participate alongside several private companies based in Ras Al Khaimah. These entities aim to demonstrate their contributions to the Emirate's economic growth and their role in advancing local industry standards.
The Make it in the Emirates 2025 event presents an opportunity for Ras Al Khaimah to reinforce its position as a dynamic region with diverse economic opportunities.
