Ras Al Khaimah Chamber Engages With US Consul-General To Boost Investment Opportunities
Mohamed Mosbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recently met with Robert Raines, the US Consul-General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Dr. Ahmed Al Shemeili, Director General of the Chamber, was also present. The meeting focused on enhancing trade relations and fostering partnerships between business owners in Ras Al Khaimah and the USA.
The discussions highlighted the importance of exchanging visits between businessmen to promote investment opportunities and share experiences. Al Nuaimi praised the strong ties between the UAE and the US, affirming the Chamber's dedication to strengthening these connections. He emphasised that such exchanges are crucial for exploring available investment opportunities.

Al Nuaimi pointed out that Ras Al Khaimah's economy is among the fastest-growing in the region. It has seen significant expansion across various sectors in recent years. He detailed how the Chamber supports the private sector by creating a favourable environment for businesses entering Ras Al Khaimah's market.
The Emirate hosts diverse industries, leveraging its abundant natural resources, including minerals from nearby mountains. In 2023, trade exchange between Ras Al Khaimah and the USA reached AED1.07 billion, marking a 41% increase from the previous year.
The US Consul-General expressed gratitude to the Chamber for their warm reception and hospitality. He noted that his visit is part of an ongoing partnership between both nations. The General Consulate in Dubai actively facilitates trade by organising conferences and meetings between businessmen from both countries.
Raines addressed inquiries about key trade issues and investment opportunities during his visit. His engagement underscores a commitment to fostering economic ties between Ras Al Khaimah and American businesses.
At the conclusion of their meeting, Al Nuaimi presented a commemorative shield to Raines as a token of appreciation for his visit to the Chamber. This gesture symbolises mutual respect and collaboration between both parties.
