Ousmane Dembélé, the French football sensation, clinched the FIFA The Best award for 2025 at a ceremony in Doha. This accolade follows his remarkable season with Paris Saint-Germain, where he also secured the Ballon d’Or last September. The event celebrated not only Dembélé but also Luis Enrique, who was honoured as Best Men’s Coach for 2025. Under his guidance, Paris Saint-Germain achieved an unprecedented quintuple this season. The FIFA The Best awards annually recognise outstanding male and female players and coaches worldwide, based on their performances from January to December 2025.

In women’s football, Aitana Bonmatí from Barcelona was awarded Best Women’s Player for 2025. Sarina Wiegman of England received the title of Best Women’s Coach for her achievements during the same period. These awards highlight exceptional talent and leadership in women's football.

Santiago Montiel from Argentina's Independiente won the Puskás Award for Best Goal of 2025. Meanwhile, Lizbeth Ovalle from Mexico's Orlando Pride claimed the Marta Award for Best Goal in women’s football for 2025. These honours celebrate individual brilliance on the field.
The FIFA World 11 for 2025 featured Gianluigi Donnarumma as goalkeeper; defenders included Achraf Hakimi, Virgil van Dijk, Nuno Mendes, and William Pacho. In midfield were Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham, Vitinha, and Pedri. The attack was led by Lamine Yamal alongside Ousmane Dembélé.
