Noatum Ports And Al Dahra Agriculture Sign MoU To Strengthen Egypt's Logistics Capabilities
Noatum Ports, the international ports arm of AD Ports Group, has agreed an MoU with Al Dahra Agriculture – Egypt that targets stronger Egypt logistics links, supply chains and trade flows, supporting the country’s role as a regional hub for cargo handling and food-related commerce.
AD Ports Group is already enlarging its presence in Egypt through investments in port operations, integrated logistics centres and maritime services, which are designed to ease cargo movements between domestic locations and international markets while supporting national aims for trade expansion and industrial diversification.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding, Noatum Ports will assess joint investment and development options using the Safaga Terminal, with the goal of reinforcing Egypt logistics infrastructure, backing agricultural and trade sectors, and addressing rising demand for efficient, technology-led supply chain solutions serving producers and exporters.
The cooperation centres on a package of logistics services that includes warehousing and storage, customs clearance activities and supply chain digitalisation, with the partners aiming to optimise agricultural supply chains, reinforce food security objectives and encourage sustainable development in Egypt’s fast-growing eastern and southern regions.
AbdulAziz Al Balooshi, Regional CEO Africa & Asia - Noatum Ports, said the MoU reflects the company’s commitment to supporting Egypt’s logistics sector by combining its expertise in port operations and supply chain management with Al Dahra’s position in food and agribusiness.
Raouf Tawfik, CEO of Al Dahra North Africa, said the partnership would help improve efficiency, integrate advanced logistics solutions, and strengthen links between farms and global markets, supporting sustainable growth and boosting the competitiveness of Egypt’s agricultural exports.
These Egypt logistics initiatives align with Egypt’s national development programmes that seek stronger trade and industrial infrastructure, improved food security and wider economic growth, while the collaboration between Noatum Ports and Al Dahra Agriculture – Egypt links these policy goals to specific port, logistics and agribusiness projects.
