MoHRE Urges Private Sector Companies To Meet Emiratisation Targets By End Of June 2025

The Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MoHRE) has reiterated its appeal to private sector firms with 50 or more employees. These companies are urged to meet their Emiratisation goals for the first half of 2025 by June's end. This effort aims to prevent financial penalties that will be enforced in July for those not meeting the targets.

MoHRE emphasised the importance of achieving a 1% increase in the number of Emiratis in skilled roles compared to the total skilled workforce. Companies must also maintain their previous Emiratisation levels. The Ministry is confident that both private companies and job-seeking nationals understand the strategic benefits of Emiratisation, which enhances the country's work environment and supports economic growth.

MoHRE Calls for Emiratisation Compliance by June

The Ministry highlighted its continuous support for compliant companies through the Nafis programme. This initiative offers additional benefits, such as membership in the Tawteen Partners Club. Members receive up to 80% discounts on MoHRE service fees and prioritisation in government procurement, enhancing business growth opportunities.

MoHRE also praised the private sector's engagement with Emiratisation policies. By May's end, over 141,000 Emiratis were employed across 28,000 private sector firms. This commitment has positively impacted national objectives, achieving significant results.

Emirati citizens are encouraged to report any violations or negative practices against Emiratisation policies. Reports can be made via the call centre at 600590000, or through MoHRE’s smart app and official website. The Ministry values citizen participation in ensuring compliance with these policies.

The Nafis platform plays a crucial role in helping companies meet their obligations by providing access to a pool of qualified Emirati talent. MoHRE acknowledged this support as vital for fulfilling Emiratisation commitments effectively.

In conclusion, MoHRE remains committed to supporting both companies and individuals in achieving Emiratisation targets. The collaboration between private sectors and nationals is essential for enhancing competitiveness and fostering economic development within the UAE.
