MoHAP Invites Public To Enhance Health Services Via Zero Bureaucracy Programme

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has invited its customers, including individuals and private sector entities, to participate in the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme Questionnaire. This initiative aims to assess the impact of recent improvements designed to facilitate service provision, reduce procedures, eliminate duplicate requirements, and establish a leading user experience in the health sector.

This move aligns with the UAE government's commitment to delivering innovative services and supports the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to implement the "Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme." The programme was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. Its goal is to simplify life for the public and foster a business environment that attracts both talent and investment, aligning with the "We the UAE 2031" vision.

Public Input Sought for Health Service Reform

The primary objective of the "Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme" is to streamline procedures, making them as simple, fast, easy, and efficient as possible. This aims to reduce unnecessary burdens on businesses and individuals in terms of time, effort, and resources while enhancing the quality of life within society.

To achieve these objectives, MoHAP has implemented practical measures to streamline and speed up access to services. This includes eliminating unnecessary requirements and re-engineering health services to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency. The Ministry is also leveraging advanced digital technologies to accurately analyse health needs and provide tailored solutions.

These initiatives ensure the provision of quick and easy services that improve customer satisfaction. Such efforts positively impact public health and align with the UAE's broader goal of enhancing the quality of life for all members of society.

Engaging Customers in Service Development

Abdullah Ahmed Ahli, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary for the Support Services Sector at MoHAP, emphasised that the questionnaire seeks to engage MoHAP customers in implementing the "Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme." This engagement aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of health services offered.

Ahli noted that the Ministry is committed to developing an integrated health system underpinned by advanced policies and innovative health programmes that utilise digital data. The goal is to provide comprehensive health services to the community, offering excellent customer experiences and enhancing quality of life.

Recent Collaborations

As part of this programme, MoHAP has recently collaborated with the team from the Prime Minister's Office to host a workshop focused on this initiative. This collaboration aims to further streamline processes and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned with the programme's objectives.

The Ministry will continue its efforts to develop an integrated health system supported by advanced policies and innovative programmes. These initiatives are designed to provide comprehensive health services and lead in offering superior customer experiences while enhancing overall quality of life.
