MBZ University For Humanities Embarks On Ramadan Public Service Initiatives
Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities is marking Ramadan with an array of public service initiatives, including the launch of the third edition of "Qur'an Mubeen", a 30-episode TV series on Al Emarat TV. This programme aims to illuminate the values embedded within the Holy Qur'an, offering insights into selected verses and their contemporary relevance. A distinguished group of scholars and professors will lead the series, delving into various themes such as Qur'anic stories, proverbs, and the virtues of dialogue and understanding.
The series will explore a wide range of topics, including the concept of righteousness, Qur'anic eloquence, and reflections on specific Surahs like Luqman, Ar-Ra'd, An-Nisa, Al-Imran, Ar-Rahman, and Al-Hujurat. Additionally, it will cover Qur'anic recitations, the speech of mercy in the Qur'an, family relations, notable figures and women in the Holy Qur'an, and the central role of peace.

Alongside "Qur'an Mubeen", Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities is set to host four episodes of open dialogues on religious discourse and human thought. These sessions will feature esteemed religious, national, and leadership experts, fostering a platform for discussion and direct communication between students and thought leaders.
The university will also broadcast a daily religious video series throughout Ramadan on its platforms. This includes the "Guidance and Sermon" programme, focusing on verses from the Holy Qur'an and their guiding values. Another feature is the "Prophetic Values" video, which highlights moral values from the Sunnah of the Messenger.
Dr. Khalifa Al Dhaheri, Chancellor of Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, emphasized that these initiatives underscore the university's dedication to community service and its mission to enrich religious discourse with human and national dimensions. He noted that "Qur'an Mubeen" specifically aims to foster values of human fraternity, mercy, love, and peaceful coexistence.
Dr. Al Dhaheri also pointed out that due to the success of "Qur'an Mubeen" in its previous seasons, there was a strong motivation to continue the programme this year. He highlighted that Islamic scholars and experts involved in this year's episodes bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to the carefully selected topics intended to benefit viewers.
