Dr. Mohamed Rashed Al Hameli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the university, witnessed the signing. Dr. Khalid Ghanim Al Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee, and Ahmed Saleh Al Humairi, Vice Chancellor for Development and Investment at the university, signed the MoU. The agreement is expected to broaden cooperation and community partnerships.

The MoU outlines several key objectives. It includes promoting the principles outlined in the Document on Human Fraternity. The agreement supports engaging educational institutions locally and internationally to strengthen human relations. Joint activities and events will be organised at various levels to foster these values.
Information exchange between both parties regarding educational programmes is another focus area. They aim to encourage participation in training activities by sharing relevant information. Additionally, exchanging trainers and speakers at conferences is part of this collaborative effort.
An action plan will be developed to implement the MoU's terms effectively. Mechanisms for evaluating, reviewing, and improving outcomes are also included in the agreement. Periodic reports on achievements towards shared goals will be exchanged to ensure transparency and progress tracking.
Dr. Al Hameli highlighted that this MoU aligns with leadership directives to uphold human fraternity values. He emphasised that it enhances plans adopted by the Higher Committee as part of UAE's efforts to establish foundational principles concerning human fraternity.
Community Engagement Focus
The partnership aims to expand community engagement across all societal segments, especially among youth. Dr. Al Ghaith stressed that implementing initiatives serving communities while promoting principles from the Document on Human Fraternity is vital for spreading a culture of human fraternity globally.
The university collaborates with local and international partners to adopt initiatives promoting peace, love, and brotherhood among societies. The MoU with the Higher Committee fits within this framework as they strive towards achieving their significant objectives.
