Ministry Of Energy And Infrastructure Unveils Data Bridge To Streamline Services
The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) has introduced Data Bridge, a digital initiative linking all entities involved in the Ministry’s services. This project aims to streamline processes by offering proactive services, requesting data only once, and enabling real-time digital document exchange. It is part of the federal government performance agreements for 2023-2024.
Data Bridge will simplify customer interactions, reduce required documentation, and shorten service delivery times. This initiative represents a significant move towards eliminating bureaucratic hurdles within the Ministry's operations. The project also seeks to increase the number of government entities exchanging digital documents with MoEI to 50, achieve full digital connectivity with these entities, and raise customer satisfaction to 90% by the end of 2025.

Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, stated, "The Data Bridge project is a major step in the digital transformation of the energy and infrastructure sectors, allowing real-time access to information and enabling an informed decision-making process. With this project, we commence a new era of collaboration and integration among concerned entities. It will have a positive impact on the economy as it improves the efficiency of services and enhances the competitiveness of the energy and infrastructure sectors."
To ensure successful implementation, MoEI has signed several agreements with both government and private entities. These partnerships aim to integrate Data Bridge with existing systems, facilitating seamless connectivity. By doing so, MoEI hopes to halve the number of required documents by the end of next year.
This initiative marks a significant advancement in reducing government bureaucracy within MoEI’s processes. The goal is to enhance service efficiency while boosting competitiveness in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
The introduction of Data Bridge signifies a new era of cooperation among various entities involved in MoEI’s services. This project not only improves service efficiency but also contributes positively to economic growth by enhancing sectoral competitiveness.
By focusing on real-time data access and informed decision-making, Data Bridge aims to revolutionise how information is managed within MoEI. The project's success hinges on its ability to integrate seamlessly with existing systems through strategic partnerships.
Ultimately, Data Bridge aims to create a more efficient and customer-friendly experience by reducing documentation requirements and streamlining service delivery processes.
