Ministry Of Defence And Abu Dhabi Police Finalise AED 25.4 Billion Contracts At Dubai Airshow 2025
The Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, responsible for advancing the UAE’s defence and security industry, announced nine new contracts worth AED1.012 billion. These agreements were signed on behalf of the Ministry of Defence during the final day of the 19th Dubai Airshow 2025. In total, 36 contracts valued at AED25.455 billion were secured over the five-day event.
Majed Ahmed Al Jaberi, Abdulla Ahmed Al Saeedi, and Manea Abdulkarim Al Mansoori represented the Council at a press conference where these announcements were made. Manea Al Mansoori detailed that six local contracts were signed on the last day, totalling AED544.675 million. Among them were two agreements with M4 Trading: one for AED57.636 million to acquire a Grand Control Station and another for AED161.634 million to purchase aircraft.

Abdulla Al Saeedi revealed that three international deals were concluded on the fifth day of the Airshow, amounting to AED467.913 million. Two contracts with Lockheed Martin from the United States included technical support services valued at AED184 million for maintenance and spare parts for portable devices and another worth AED63.551 million for aircraft simulator spare parts.
The third international contract was with Raytheon, also an American company, to acquire friendly force identification systems valued at AED220.362 million. These international collaborations aim to bolster the UAE’s defence capabilities through strategic partnerships.
Among local agreements, a contract worth AED29 million was signed with Al Taif Technical Services Company for maintenance services related to cooling equipment and power generators. MP3 company secured a deal valued at AED154.5 million to supply materials and equipment for pilots and aerial rescue operations, including spare parts.
Additionally, International Golden Group was contracted to procure aerial drop systems for AED65.905 million, while Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Investments (ADASI) received a contract worth AED76 million to supply drones.
Tawazun's Strategic Role in Defence Development
The Tawazun Council continues to play a pivotal role in unifying national efforts towards developing a sustainable defence ecosystem in line with UAE's future goals. Through these agreements, Tawazun strengthens its position as a key enabler and partner for the Ministry of Defence.
Majed Al Jaberi highlighted that the exhibition's achievements reflect the Council’s vision of empowering the defence sector through strategic partnerships across public and private sectors. He noted increased participation from national companies in high-value projects advancing local capabilities in defence, aviation, and space.
Al Jaberi further emphasised Tawazun's commitment to fostering an innovative environment supporting UAE’s shift towards a technology-driven economy. This aligns with efforts to establish the country as a global hub for advanced defence industries focused on future growth.
