Middle East Energy 2025 Highlights Strong European Presence In Regional Markets
The Middle East Energy 2025 event at the Dubai World Trade Centre has seen a notable increase in European participation. This highlights its significance as a major international platform in the energy industry, according to representatives from European pavilions. The event aims to assist national companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in accessing markets across the Gulf, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Heike Schöttler, Director of Global Trade Fairs at the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, noted Germany's largest-ever presence at this event. Eighty-five German companies are showcasing a wide range of technologies, including cabling systems, electrical insulation, solar and wind energy solutions, and precision electronics. Schöttler mentioned that while some companies target the UAE and GCC markets, others aim to expand into regions like Africa and India.

Alice Bertazzoli from ANIE Federazione highlighted Italy's involvement with 37 companies in their pavilion. These firms span the entire energy value chain. Additional Italian companies are participating independently. Bertazzoli stressed that supporting SMEs is crucial. She sees the event as an opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange, and staying updated on global energy trends.
Christian Kien, Project Manager for Austria's pavilion, shared that Austria has been part of this exhibition for many years. This year, ten Austrian companies are present. They aim to connect with existing clients in the region and explore new partnerships.
The Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade organised a pavilion featuring ten Czech companies involved in solar energy, connectivity, and modern energy solutions. Marcela Klinekova from the ministry emphasised their commitment to promoting Czech businesses in Gulf markets. She described Middle East Energy as a vital regional platform for growth and international engagement.
The exhibition plays a crucial role in fostering partnerships and exploring innovations within the energy sector. It also helps expand commercial networks across various regions. By providing access to diverse markets, it supports national companies' growth ambitions.
This year's event underscores its importance as a hub for international collaboration in energy technology advancements. Participants are keen on leveraging this platform not only for business deals but also for expanding their professional networks globally.
