Sheikha Latifa emphasised that hosting ICOM Dubai 2025 highlights the UAE’s recognition of culture's role in shaping societies. "These partnerships embody our shared commitment across the public and private sectors to advance knowledge and support the global museum community," she stated. She added that collaboration is deeply rooted in the UAE's ethos, fostering progress on both national and international levels.

The conference will be a first for the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia region. It aims to gather over 4,500 museum professionals under the theme ‘The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities.’ The scientific programme will focus on Intangible Heritage, Youth Power, and New Technologies to inspire collaboration and innovation in the museum sector.

The International Council of Museums (ICOM) is a leading global organisation dedicated to museums' preservation and development. Established in 1946, it serves as a platform for international collaboration among museum professionals. With over 60,000 members from 139 countries, ICOM champions museums' roles in societal development and cultural preservation.

Through its partners' support, the ICOM Dubai 2025 Organising Committee is committed to hosting a world-class conference with immediate impact and long-term legacy. Each partner plays a crucial role in delivering a successful event that sets new standards for partnership across disciplines.

Sheikha Latifa also noted that Dubai continues to be a global platform for dialogue and creativity. "Guided by the belief that progress is a collective effort," she said, "we have achieved remarkable success on both national and international levels." This event reaffirms Dubai's role as a hub where collaboration shapes a brighter future.

The agreements involve prominent figures like Fahad Al Hassawi from Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) and Saeed Ali Al Fazari from Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism. Other key participants include Ahmed Bahrozyan from Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai and Khawla Al Mehairi from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.

The conference aims to foster critical inquiry while generating fresh perspectives for advancing the global museum sector. By focusing on key themes like Intangible Heritage, Youth Power, and New Technologies, it seeks to inspire collaboration among cultural leaders worldwide.

The partnerships reflect a shared vision across public and private sectors to enhance knowledge-sharing within the global museum community. This spirit of cooperation is integral to Dubai's identity as it works towards creating more connected futures through cultural initiatives.
