Kintsugi Holding’s Autocraft And GMF AeroAsia Sign MoU To Advance eVTOL Development
Kintsugi Holding, owned by the UAE government, is furthering its influence in the advanced mobility sector internationally. This development comes through a collaboration between its aviation arm, Autocraft, and GMF AeroAsia, the foremost aerospace maintenance firm in Indonesia. The partnership was formalized through an MoU at the Indonesia Defence Expo & Forum 2025.
The agreement between Autocraft and GMF AeroAsia designates GMF as the primary MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) partner for the E20+, Autocraft's leading aircraft. Furthermore, this collaboration opens avenues for exchanging knowledge, technical training, and aligning on regulations to support the emergence of future air mobility.

"This partnership with GMF marks a major step in our mission to localise next-generation aviation support capabilities," stated Tareq AlBannay, Vice President – Future Systems at Kintsugi Holding. "Together, we're building the groundwork for a self-reliant ecosystem that supports the introduction and sustainability of clean air mobility in Indonesia."
The partnership's objective is not only to advance aviation technology but also to foster regional aviation resilience and contribute to global sustainability efforts. As part of the MOU, Kintsugi's Service & Operations team will closely collaborate with GMF to develop frameworks for diagnostics, upgrades, and ensuring the E20+ platform is fully compliant with Indonesia's regulatory standards.
Andi Fahrurrozi, CEO of GMF AeroAsia, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, "Welcoming Autocraft's zero-emission air mobility concept reflects our long-term commitment to shaping a transformative, sustainable aviation sector. This collaboration is a strategic leap forward for Indonesia—one that unites engineering strength, environmental responsibility, and long-term business growth."
Kintsugi Holding's engagement at the Indo Defence Expo also highlighted their commitment to innovation, showcasing not only the E20+ eVTOL aircraft but also Eneron’s Magnum MK1 hybrid patrol vehicle. This vehicle, designed for tactical, police, and urban enforcement operations, attracted considerable attention from Indonesian officials, showcasing the UAE-based company's ambition to forge significant partnerships across Southeast Asia.
"We've been encouraged by the strong interest in our vehicles. Indonesia is an exciting market, and as a UAE-based company, we're always looking to build meaningful partnerships across the region," remarked Tareq AlBannay.
The E20+ eVTOL by Autocraft and Eneron’s Magnum MK1 are central to Kintsugi Holding's strategy to lead in delivering impactful, forward-thinking solutions in mobility, defence, and environmental sustainability. The organisation is keen on expanding its operational presence, working alongside regional partners to promote technological independence and capacity enhancement.
