Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Tours National Art Expressions Exhibition Showcasing Student Talent At Louvre Abu Dhabi
H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, recently visited the National Art Expressions event. Organised by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), this exhibition is held at the Louvre Abu Dhabi park until 8th December 2025. It showcases over 1,500 creative works from students across the emirate.
During his visit, H.H. Sheikh Khaled explored various pavilions displaying innovative artworks such as paintings, sculptures, and design pieces. These works highlight the diverse talents and creativity of students in Abu Dhabi. The exhibition is categorised into six artistic pathways: Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Literary Arts, Crafts and Folk Arts, Digital Arts, and Applied Arts.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled engaged with participating students to discuss their artistic ideas and experiences. He praised the high quality of artworks presented and noted the promising talents and innovative perspectives they reflect. This initiative aims to strengthen the presence of arts within Abu Dhabi's community.
The Crown Prince emphasised that investing in students' creative potential is crucial for nurturing a generation capable of expressing national identity through culturally rooted art forms. He highlighted that such initiatives play a vital role in developing thoughtful and imaginative youth.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled stated that the exhibition aligns with Abu Dhabi’s vision to integrate arts into education. By providing platforms for students to develop their talents and present their work to a broader audience, it helps build confidence and fosters artistic expression.
Accompanying H.H. Sheikh Khaled during his visit were several key figures including Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi; Sara Awad Musallam, Chairperson of ADEK; and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
A Year-Long Programme Culmination
This exhibition marks the culmination of a year-long visual and performing arts programme developed by ADEK. Over 7,000 students from more than 200 schools participated under the guidance of 62 local and international artists through workshops and interactive training sessions.
The initiative received support from numerous cultural institutions that provided resources and expertise to ensure its success. Key supporters include the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Ministry of Education, among others.
Strengthening Education-Culture Link
Now in its third edition, this exhibition continues to bridge education with culture by offering meaningful opportunities for students to connect with UAE’s creative industries. It reaffirms Abu Dhabi’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent while establishing itself as a hub for artistic excellence both regionally and globally.
