Clubs are eager to earn points and compete for the title before the final round in Abu Dhabi this December. Mohamed Hussain Al Marzooqi, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the UAEJJF, stated, "Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship has become a major event for clubs and academies. The championship, featuring highly competitive five rounds, gives clubs and academies the chance to test the skills of athletes in a top-level environment and discover new talents who would possibly become future champions."

Al Marzooqi further noted that hosting such a prestigious championship showcases the unwavering support jiu-jitsu receives from visionary leadership. This backing aims to promote the sport's values within society. The championship's unique aspect is its nationwide reach, offering families an opportunity to attend and celebrate their children's achievements together.
Zayed Al Kaabi, coach of Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Club, emphasized their strategy of involving numerous athletes across various categories. "We ensured that a large number of our athletes participate in different categories to give them the chance to compete in this high-level championship," he said. This approach provides an experience akin to top international tournaments.
The year-round events offer clubs chances to win medals and titles, enhancing their reputation as they aim for the championship title with the final round approaching. Al Kaabi highlighted that these competitions prepare athletes for regional and international events while maintaining their fitness levels.
This preparation is crucial as it occurs just weeks before the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, regarded as the largest event in jiu-jitsu globally. Athletes benefit from continuous development through participation in such high-caliber competitions.
