Emirati designers made a notable impact with their heritage-inspired gold artifacts and exclusive jewellery pieces under the "Emirati Goldsmiths" Platform. Their craftsmanship captivated attendees with unique aesthetic appeal and artistic brilliance. The exhibition highlighted their ability to blend traditional designs with modern elegance.

The Sharjah Pearls Exhibition was a standout feature of the event. Held under the "Emirati Goldsmiths" Platform in collaboration with "Suwaidi Pearls," it offered visitors a chance to see some of the most luxurious natural pearls from Sharjah's seas. These included century-old pearl pieces alongside those dating back three decades.

Visitors were treated to premium silver and golden pearls of various shapes and sizes. Each piece was distinguished by exceptional quality and dazzling shine. The exhibition also hosted an expert-led panel discussion on the historical journey of the UAE’s pearling industry.

Historical Significance

The panel discussion explored pearls' historical significance along UAE coasts and their link to traditional pearl diving heritage in Emirati marine environments. It provided insights into forefathers' experiences with pearl extraction through captivating storytelling.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, remarked on the impressive visitor turnout and extensive participation by local and international exhibitors. He noted that this reflects the exhibition's growing stature among global jewellery events.

Al Midfa highlighted how the exhibition supports local gold and jewellery markets by offering opportunities for businesses to promote their latest creations. It empowers Emirati designers to showcase their artistic talents while connecting deeply with UAE’s cultural heritage through meticulously crafted pieces.

The event underscored its role as a premier platform for both established brands and emerging designers in the jewellery industry.
