Italy Showcases 40 Companies And Advanced Technologies At ADIPEC 2025 In Abu Dhabi
Italy is set to participate in ADIPEC 2025, scheduled from 3rd to 6th November at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. The Italian Trade Agency (ITA), alongside ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica Varia, ANIMP, FEDERTEC, Federazione ANIE, and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will organise a pavilion. This pavilion will feature 40 prominent Italian companies showcasing advanced technologies in oil, gas, and energy transition sectors.
The Italian Pavilion at ADIPEC 2025 will highlight Italy's engineering and manufacturing prowess. It will showcase solutions for upstream, midstream, and downstream applications. These include pipeline systems, valves, compressors, LNG infrastructure, and automation technologies. This participation underscores Italy's expanding role as a key energy partner for the UAE and the Gulf region.

According to TDM Trade Data Monitor, Italian exports of oil and gas technologies to the UAE reached €292.2 million in 2024. This marks a significant 45.9 percent increase from €200.2 million in 2023. Italy now accounts for 8.33 percent of the UAE’s total oil and gas equipment imports. This share has risen to 9.8 percent year-to-date from January to June 2025.
The UAE remains one of Italy’s most important trading partners in the Gulf region. There is sustained demand for high-quality and sustainable "Made in Italy" energy solutions. Data from ANIMA Confindustria highlights Italy’s strength in the global oil and gas sector with total exports reaching €17.65 billion in 2024, up by 6.6 percent from the previous year.
Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE, stated that "ADIPEC is a pivotal platform that strengthens cooperation between Italy and the UAE in the global energy landscape." He emphasised that their shared focus on sustainability and innovation continues to bring both nations closer together.
Valerio Soldani, Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE, noted that "The 45.9 percent increase in oil and gas equipment exports to the UAE reflects the remarkable momentum of our bilateral trade." He added that through ADIPEC 2025, they are displaying Italian engineering excellence while strengthening their commitment to a diversified energy future.
Industry Leaders' Perspectives
Pietro Almici, President of ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica Varia, expressed pride in their longstanding partnership with ITA for organising the Italian Pavilion at ADIPEC. He highlighted that this year's edition marks a record with 40 exhibitors hosted within the Pavilion.
Giulio Iucci, ANIE Vice President for Internationalisation and SMEs, remarked on ADIPEC's influence as a global platform for dialogue in the energy sector. He stated that it brings together key players committed to shaping a sustainable future through cutting-edge technologies.
The UAE continues to be one of the top Gulf destinations contributing significantly to Italy's growth in industrial supply chains. This reinforces Italy's relevance within the region's industrial landscape while highlighting its commitment towards building greener energy solutions globally.
