The 2025 Dubai Future Forum commenced with a wide range of impactful activities, showcasing future innovations and immersive experiences in virtual, augmented, and extended reality. These initiatives are designed to engage participants in shaping a sustainable future and driving positive change. The event also featured specialised workshops and a dedicated area for global book launches and signings with renowned authors, writers, and publishers.
Visitors from over 100 countries experienced interactive innovations like "Future Botanica," which allows the creation of imaginative ecosystems connecting digital nature with physical spaces. Another experience, "Dialogue with the Forest," offered a mixed-reality encounter blending digital nature with real-world environments. These experiences aim to reimagine the future of the natural world.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) organised a session called "Foresight to Action: What Will the Future of Migration Look Like?" Participants from various sectors explored migration's future using foresight methodologies and scenario planning to identify key trends in human mobility.
