Indian Businesses Dominate New Company Registrations At Dubai Chamber In First Nine Months Of 2024
Dubai Chamber of Commerce, part of Dubai Chambers, recently analysed new non-Emirati companies joining the chamber in 2024. Indian investors led with 12,142 new companies in the first nine months. This trend underscores Dubai's attractiveness to Indian entrepreneurs.
Pakistan followed India with 6,061 new companies from January to September 2024. Egypt was next, contributing 3,611 new businesses to the chamber's membership during this period.

The trade and services sector dominated new memberships between Q1-Q3 2024, making up 41.5% of the total. The real estate, renting, and business services sector came second at 33.3%. Construction ranked third with a share of 10.4%.
In fourth place was the transport, storage, and communications sector at 8.6%, while social and personal services accounted for 6.8%, ranking fifth among sectors.
Syrian companies numbered 2,062, placing them fourth among new members in the chamber. The United Kingdom contributed 1,886 companies, securing fifth place on the list.
Bangladesh followed closely with 1,669 new companies joining between January and September. Iraq added 1,346 companies to the chamber's membership during this time.
China ranked eighth with 1,109 new member companies. Jordan registered ninth with a total of 1,069 businesses joining the chamber in these nine months.
Sudan completed the top ten list by adding 1,007 new companies to the chamber's membership from January to September.
This data highlights Dubai's continued appeal as a business hub for various nationalities and sectors throughout early 2024.
