HFZA And SAIF Zone Host Workshop With ADNOC On Supplier Registration Procedures
The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority (SAIF Zone) and Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) recently collaborated with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to host a workshop. This event aimed to familiarise companies in these free zones with ADNOC’s supplier registration process, focusing on commercial licensing and regulatory procedures in Abu Dhabi.
Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of both free zones, expressed gratitude towards ADNOC for supporting this initiative. He highlighted that the workshop aligns with the zones' vision to attract energy sector investments through top-notch infrastructure and services. The event provided investors with direct opportunities to join the energy supply chain, contributing to national economic growth.

The workshop offered a comprehensive overview of ADNOC’s supplier registration process. It covered licensing requirements, compliance standards, and evaluation benchmarks. Additionally, it emphasised ADNOC’s dedication to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards and its support for national companies under the Make it in the Emirates initiative.
Mubarak Al Mehairbi, Senior Vice-President at ADNOC, reiterated the company's commitment to expanding strategic partnerships and fostering business growth. He noted that transparency and quality are core values in ADNOC’s supplier relationships. Al Mehairbi also praised the free zones for facilitating a successful workshop.
Al Mazrouei stated that the collaboration between Sharjah’s free zones and ADNOC enhances the national economy by supporting strategic sectors. The workshop was part of an effort to attract investment in the energy sector by providing world-class infrastructure, services, and market access.
The session witnessed strong participation from department heads, employees, investors, and company representatives from the energy sector. Attendees received detailed guidance on registration and qualification procedures. Discussions also highlighted ESG standards' importance in ADNOC’s supplier criteria, aligning with the UAE’s sustainable development vision.
The event successfully engaged participants by offering insights into ADNOC's processes while encouraging businesses to explore opportunities within the energy supply chain. This initiative reflects a broader strategy to integrate local companies into significant national projects.
